The Project Manager will be familiar with federal, state, and municipal public works projects. The position will review specifications, define technical requirements, interface with bond and insurance companies for specific project requirements. Once a project is secured, this person will complete submittals that are specific to the project and attend the preconstruction meeting. Throughout the project, the Project Manager will interface with field personnel to implement site-specific job hazard assessments, collect payroll information and complete certified payroll reports, interface with vendors for ordering, and invoice based on the approved schedule of values.
The Project Manager will ideally have a B.S. in a technical discipline or civil engineering or equivalent experience. Ability to multitask and communicate effectively are necessary traits to be successful. Experience in steel trades, cathodic protection, and coatings are highly desired.
