This position will support the implementation of AMP United marine and industrial coating projects. The successful candidate will conduct various aspects of quality control and inspection activities associated with the oversight and management of both field and shop level industrial coating activities on water tanks, pipelines, Naval vessels, and steel structures. This will include the removal of the existing coatings that may encounter heavy metals. The candidate should be comfortable working in confined spaces while wearing full containment suit & full facial mask. This position will require extensive travel. The coatings inspector will serve as AMP United’s agent for execution on and off site management of industrial coating processes and protocols including off-site work planning, on-site coating activities and surveillance, supervision and quality control inspections. The successful applicant will ensure coating projects are completed and support NACE, SSPC and containment work plans, client statements of work and contract requirements. The ideal candidate will:
